I’m shy at first but once I warm up, I’m full of love. I get along with other cats and dogs but kids in my new home should be older since I’m a little nervous.

I love to play and also love to cuddle. I have a pancreas problem and without a special powder on my food, I can’t digest my food properly. Hi, I’m Birdie and I’m 6 years old.  Believe it or not, as of June 29, I’ve been at the shelter for an entire year looking for a new home.  Nobody is quite sure why?  I’ve got it all: a sweet disposition, looks, smarts!  I’m generally a quiet girl who enjoys exploring my surroundings, following the sun from window to window, and being adored. I’m Edith and I’m a Poodle mix around 10 years old.  They tell me that I was found as a stray and that it is much safer for me here, especially at my age. I can’t see or hear very well, but I still have lots of love to give. I am very calm and love to snuggle when given the chance. If you’d like to share your warm, quiet home with me, that would be fabulous. I would prefer to be the only pet in the house because I’m a little on the nervous side. Kids in my new home should be older. I think I might be scared of the little ones.
