My name is Tess!  I’m 9 months old and some people say I look a little like a Bearded Collie, while others say maybe a Lab/Poodle mix. I say, “Whatever. Does it really matter?” I’m a very friendly girl who’ll bring a lot of love and activity to the right family. I don’t like to be home alone for long periods of time. I’m so smart that I get bored very quickly and easily. When that happens, I find my own stuff to do, and that gets me into trouble sometimes. If you’re an extremely active family with older kids, I might be the dog for you. Remember, I like to be busy!

 Hi, I’m Daisy, a 2-year old Wheaten Terrier.  My name fits me perfectly: I’m pretty as a flower and smell just as sweet. I’m also a really active girl; life is a complete game, and I’m the center of attention. I am a special-needs girl, however. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Addison’s Disease. It shouldn’t effect my life expectantcy, but I will need monthly visits to the vet for an injection to keep it under control. Please don’t let this tiny little issue change your mind about me. I’m worth it at any cost!

I’m Mr. Furley!  I’m a 2-year old handsome cat.  Like all sidekicks, I’m great company. I like attention, but I also like my solitude. I don’t go looking for trouble, but I’m no scaredy-cat either. If you’re looking for a steady companion, I’m your kitty.

I’m Diana, a 2-year old sweet girl who’s got a lot of soul. I had a great family who loved me very much, but their landlord wouldn’t let me stay them. They brought me here to NAHS because they knew a gorgeous, loving girl like myself would have no trouble finding another family to love me. Kids in my new home should be older because I might tackle anyone small, and I don’t mind most other dogs but I shouldn’t live with cats. I hope you’ll come meet me soon, because I sure do miss having a nice warm home to call my own.
